Dear subscribers and readers:
Since it is a short holiday week here in the US, I want to take this opportunity to say a loud, sincere “thank you” for all your support!
I know many, if not most, subscribers of Interconnected are not based in the US, and don’t celebrate US Thanksgiving. This holiday happens to be one of my favorite ones, because: 1) it tends to coincide with my birthday (yes, I’m a turkey baby); 2) I happen to really like Thanksgiving food (I find turkey dark meat + stuffings + mashed potatoes + gravy + cranberry sauce delightful); 3) the combination of family time, birthday reflection, and coma-inducing food always puts me in an introspective and grateful mood.
Most entrepreneurial pursuits – a hot AI startup, a corner coffee shop, or a (yes) newsletter – die because the person who started it simply ran out of energy and gave up. Three years and eight months into writing this newsletter, I was able to keep going because your subscription, readership, and trust gave me that energy. In fact, I feel more energized than ever! With the recent announcement of Interconnected 2.0, our next evolution, and our companion investment fund (more news to share in the near future), I feel incredibly energized and thankful for every second you spend on Interconnected.
If you celebrate US Thanksgiving, I hope you get to do it with people you love and who love you back. If you don’t, I hope you have a wonderfully productive week. Thank you for everything. We will be back with our regular programming next week!
Kevin S. Xu
Keep it up, man!
Happy birthday and happy Thanksgiving!
